Saftey:
In a standard boiler, the heat source is external of the pressure
vessel, if the pressure vessel was completely closed off and the
heat source continued, the steam pressure would be unlimited,
which would result in a tremendous explosion. In a Welden direct
fired steam generator, the heat source is inside the pressure
vessel, therefore if the pressure vessel is completely closed
off the fuel/air supply is closed off and there would be no pressure
rise.

Sustainable
Efficiency: The heat transfer in a Welden steam generator
is direct from the products of combustion to the water, because
of this fact, the efficiency never diminishes regardless of scale
build-up. Too much scale build-up would restrict the steam flow
but never the efficiency.
